EXAPATH NAIL PLATE KIT (EXNPSG-00)
 eXapath multi-purpose Nail Plate (EXNPSG-00)

When installing the eXapath® in-wall cable pathway system you'll need to consider line voltage electrical wires. In general line voltage and low voltage cables should cross paths perpendicular to each other as a means of minimizing communications interference.
For walls less than 6 inches deep:
- Creating a horizontal pathway for line voltage wiring.
- For best results use a 7/8" Brad Point drill.
- Create the path by using the built-in sidewall v-groove as a pilot hole.
- Add an eXapath multi-purpose Nail Plate (EXNPSG-00) to protect installed wiring.
- For additional stability fasten the nail plate to adjacent stud of blocking using holes provided.
Exterior walls of 6 inch depth or greater:
- Route the line voltage wiring between the eXapath conduit and wall sheathing.
- Provide at least 1 1/4" space between the cable and the sheathing (check with building officials for local codes).
- Line voltage wire may also be routed according to the recommendations above (walls less than 6 inches deep).
