MUCH MORE THAN SIMPLE CONDUIT...
 Much more than simple conduit...
The eXapath cabling pathway system is much more than a simple conduit. The system has many unique features for home designers, contractors and especially homeowners.

Home designers:
Concerned not only with beauty, form, function, energy conservation and durability, design teams also face the added challenge of making living spaces that anticipate ever advancing changes in consumer electronics. Without an alternative, this could mean destroying walls and sacrificing expensive wall treatments to remove obsolete cabling when upgrading home electronics.
As energy conserving materials such as expanded foam insulation gain widespread acceptance, they may also introduce new challenges related to cabling. The eXapath system provides an excellent complement to advanced insulation leaving the installers and homeowners a convenient predefined pathway for today's networks and the undefined cable requirements of the future.
Contractors:
Trades conflicts on the job site plague home construction projects leading to completion delays, cost overruns and frustration. Often, after framing is complete, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, low voltage, insulation and sheetrock teams are on site, competing for space and utility resources.
Each eXapath system installs in less than five minutes and opens the opportunity for low voltage cabling to be installed when time allows, either before or after the wall covering is in place. This benefit offers the general contractor great flexibility when scheduling work, helping to keep the project on schedule and on budget.
Homeowners-eXapath offers you flexibility and choice:
The eXapath system can be easily located using common stud finders after drywall is in place. In addition, unlike simpler, more static conduits that require preinstalled outlets, the eXapath system accommodates installation of media outlets at any point from floor to ceiling, either before or after the the wall covering is in place. This leaves the homeowner or their chosen installer with added value in terms of flexibility to address home electronics needs of the future.
Unique Features:
eXapath pathways (EXCS44-0910-21 nd EXCS44-1030-21)
- Precut 8 and 9 foot lengths, optimized for common wall heights, minimizes conduit cutting on site, installs faster
- Large, recessed low voltage chamber offering cable volume of 3.0 square inches for easy pulling
- Unique v-groove piloting device to ensure accurate media outlet port creation
- eXapath media outlet ports are easily created using common 2 1/8" diameter hole saw
- Media outlets snap securely in place using built-in capture channel
- Line voltage separated from low voltage by design
- Design for 90 degree crossing between line voltage and low voltage for improved signal performance
- Nail plate protects line voltage cables from penetrating objects
- Nail plate snaps securely in place using the integrated capture channel
- Nail plate is dual purpose, also fastens to wooden studs for added stability
- Installation of speakers and control panels easily managed by drilling small hole though side to create passage from low voltage chamber
- Tremendous complement to expanding foam insulation materials, providing ready access to cabling
eXapath mounting brackets (EXTP44-21 and EXBP44-21).jpg) .jpg) .jpg) .jpg)
- Optimized for seamless integration with 2" x 4", 2" x 6" or larger framing
- Built-in T-square and marker features simplify and speed up installation, accurate bracket placement every time
- EXBP44-21 includes penetration pipe for simple transtion between floors
- Large diameter pipe provides 1.62" of cable area and easy pulls
- Short 5 1/2" pipe length minimizes cable friction, simplifying cable pulls
- Tapered pipe opening minimizes cable "catching", further simplifying cable pulls
- Living hinge device ensures proper alignment during installation
- Living hinge rotates and snaps in place securely before final fastening with common screws.
eXapath media outlets (EXBXSG-21).jpg) .jpg)
- Unique design snaps securely in place using built-in capture channel
- Outlets can be installed before...or after drywall is in place
- Outlets can be installed at any vertical point along the eXapath conduit between floor and ceiling
- Minimally invasive installation after drywall, removal of 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" sheetrock plug only, reduces waste stream
- Outlets can easily be removed and reused
- Multiple outlets can be installed in the same conduit
- Outlets "key" off of eXapath conduits to ensure that they remain level, no guesswork
- Large access hole in rear of outlet facilitates cable bend radius recommendations
